Support Staff (Full-time)
SATUCI is accepting applications for a full-time support staff position in our Marshalltown office. Responsibilities include answering a multi-line phone, greeting and scheduling clients, data entry, and assisting with records. Starting salary range: $13.00-$15.00 per hour with full benefits. Seeking someone who is detail oriented, has excellent customer service skills and has the ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment. Travel to one of our outreach offices may be required. Previous work as a secretary with prior experience with electronic medical records and Spanish language skills a plus. Outpatient Addictions Counselor (Part-time & Full-time)
SATUCI, a non-profit, state funded, community-based agency that has provided substance use prevention and treatment services since 1980, is looking for a qualified part-time and full-time outpatient addictions counselor based out of our Marshalltown, Iowa office with potential of working in outreach offices (Eldora, Grinnell, Tama). Responsibilities include client assessments/referrals, individual and group counseling, and case management services. The successful candidate will have at a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work or related field and a tCADC, CADC or IADC. Experience providing direct substance use disorder treatment preferred but not required. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and be able to pay attention to detail. Spanish language skills a plus. SATUCI is looking for a team-oriented professional for full time work. Focus of work will be prevention of substance misuse and problem gambling serving Hardin, Marshall, Poweshiek and Tama Counties. This position is housed in the main office in Marshalltown. Education requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in education or human services related field. Successful candidate will be a self-starter, possess strong computer, communication and presentation skills. Position will involve program development and educational programming with youth and adults in community, school and workplace settings. This position also includes teaching weekend OWI classes a few times a year. Will provide training. Comparative salary and benefit package. Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
