Jenny Etter, Executive Director | MA

Jenny has over 40 years of experience as an Executive Director for non-profit agencies.  Jenny graduated from Goddard College in Vermont with her Masters degree in Psychology Counseling.  She has extensive experience directing agencies focused on behavioral health, substance abuse and mental health counseling, residential substance abuse programs, as well as working with Autism programming for adults and children.  Jenny’s diverse career includes working in domestic violence, rape/sexual assault counseling programs and was part of a human rights activist team working in South Asia focusing women and children’s programming.

Darcy Maiden-Parks, Clinical Director | MA, LMHC, CADC

Darcy is the Clinical Director responsible for supervising all clinical staff and oversees all clinical quality assurance activities.  A portion of her time is also spent in direct service providing counseling services.  Darcy graduated with her masters degree from Webster University, Kansas City, Missouri with her degree in mental health counseling.  She is a licensed mental health counselor and a certified alcohol and drug counselor.  Darcy has been with SATUCI since 2005.

Alison Long, Finance Director | BS

Alison Long is the Finance Director, Health & Safety officer and supervises the Billing Department staff. Alison has been at SATUCI since 2020. Alison has over 20 years of experience in accounting, payroll, budgets and grant administration. Alison has her Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in Business Management and Human Resources. Alison manages all fiscal/billing and works in Abila electronic accounting system. As the Health and Safety Officer she coordinates all activities to assure Agency, State, Federal and CARF compliance standards.

Andrea Storjohann, Director of Psychiatric and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Services | MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, CADC

Andrea Storjohann is the Director of Psychiatric and MAT services at Substance Abuse Treatment Unit of Central Iowa (SATUCI) where she practices outpatient psychiatry and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).  Andrea has spent over a decade collaborating with stakeholders across the state of Iowa providing education, advocacy, and assistance related to MAT/Behavioral Health program implementation. She is currently a HUB member for the Iowa PCA Behavioral Health ECHO and provides technical assistance for the Opioid Response Network (ORN-TA). Andrea and her dedicated team were the recipients of the 2019 Addiction Policy Forum’s Innovation Award and have been featured in the New York Times as well as other news outlets.

Dr. Timothy Swinton, Medical Director | MD

Dr. Swinton is a family practice physician at Primary Health Care in Marshalltown/Ames. He is a member of the American Board of Family Practice. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa. He completed his residency at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. Dr. Swinton also practiced medicine at the Mtshabezi Mission Hospital in South Africa for two years.
